Undergraduate Program
The undergraduate program aims to educate engineers who can formulate problems, work with complex data, develop learning-based methods, build software and data infrastructures, evaluate systems rigorously, and communicate technical results clearly.
Structure of the program
Foundational stage
The first stage develops knowledge in mathematics, probability and statistics, programming, discrete structures, data structures, algorithms, and basic engineering sciences.
Core AI and data stage
Students progress to data science, machine learning, deep learning, data management, numerical computing and optimization, signals and systems, and software development for machine-learning systems.
Advanced study and professional formation
Technical electives support depth in areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, generative AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, robotics, health applications, and intelligent systems. Research-oriented courses, laboratories, internships, and project work develop professional and academic competencies.
Educational approach
- Coordinated theory and laboratories: AID201/AID203, AID202/AID204, and AID301/AID303 are designed as theory–practice pairs taken in the same semester.
- Flexible electives: students can choose AIDE electives and designated courses from Computer Engineering.
- Research literacy: students learn literature review, experimental design, reproducibility, ethics, scientific writing, and presentation.
- Responsible engineering: societal impact, privacy, fairness, safety, and professional responsibility are considered throughout the program.
Language and degree
The medium of instruction is English. Students who complete the official degree requirements receive the Bachelor of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering.

Graduate Program
Faculty members of AIDE actively participate in graduate education through the Department of Computer Engineering. AIDE faculty supervise MSc and PhD students, offer graduate courses, and conduct collaborative research within the established graduate programs.
